Victoria Fazio struggled to find makeup designed with brown and black skin in mind. For years, she wasted money on ashy foundations and powders, gray mascara, and lipstick colors that looked great on the model, but didn’t work for her. Fazio set out to change the industry standard by founding Propa Beauty Inc., a line of affordable, nude, vegan lipsticks specifically designed with dark skin in mind.

Fazio has created a brand that, “motivates you to look and feel your best on the inside as well as the outside, as we push open the limiting gates in both our careers and societies.”

Steering clear of drying matte formulas, the latest collection is truly one of a kind, featuring the Power Pouts satin smooth formula that has gained a loyal following. Shopping online for lipsticks can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Propa Beauty’s universal best shades Victress, Finesse, Her Magic, and Believe It are excellent places to start.

In the coming months, Frazio plans to develop eye products and a variety of additional formulas to add to their current lipstick line.
