AVIVERE is a curated boutique fashion brand founded by Ijeoma Ogbechie in 2018, that collaborates with designers from a variety of African countries who present their different viewpoints and styles. The exceptionally designed luxury fashions are of high-quality materials and elegantly juxtapose traditional and modern elements. Ultimately, Ogbechie hopes to make African fashion more visible to the world.
“Now is the time for Africa to put the global spotlight firmly on its own designers,” Ogbechie tells BLK Oceans. “One way to do it is by educating the global fashion consumer and making it easy for them to access designs that provide a perspective of the continent that is rarely ever seen or heard.”

Popular items include the Delta Skirt by Sukeina and the Ex-Lapel Suit by Emmy Kasbit, which is an updated take on the traditional pantsuit using traditional cowry as buttons.
