Charla Jones, Founder and CEO of eu2be, started formulating her brand in 2012, around the time when indie beauty brands were taking center stage.
Through her line of transformative skincare products, she honors the legacy of her stylish, world-traveling aunt Eugenia and her nana. These inspiring women were less focused on “the arithmetic of beauty” and more on their birthright to define their beauty and seize beauty in everyday life.
“Nature designed us in a way that caring for our skin is a conducive regimen for caring for the body and the person we are to become,” says Jones.
We caught up with Jones to learn more about her story and her game-changing brand.
Tell us more about why you started eu2be:
“I believe our bodies are implicated in our emotional life, not just our physical one. So our bodies need more than marketing tropes of trendy miracle ingredients. They need to feel cared for, which is why I devised a rare blend of powerful biomimetic carrier oils—prized through generations of skincare traditions, practices and wisdoms to design our transformative skincare products.
This is why I founded eu2be—to illuminate the necessity of beauty and wellness in our lives—and it’s why people say our products have transformed how they feel about their skin.”
