From gold, coral pendants to gemstones that encapsulate the crystal blue waters of the Carribean, St. Croix based ib designs offers stunning jewelry inspired by nature, cultures and the desire to create pieces that celebrate life.
Founder Whealan Massicott launched the company with his wife and partner, Kris, on a leap of faith. Starting small, with a 100 square foot storefront on Company Street in St. Croix, they would quickly gain attention and a loyal customer base due to their original, eye-catching designs.

“We are led from a deep desire to create jewelry that speaks to a person’s journey and feels good,” the Massicott’s tell BLK Oceans. “We want to be a part of our clients’ life celebrations. We pride ourselves on the greatest quality, customer service and care and in creating feel good jewelry.”
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted to offer customers natural lines and shapes that can be found in the Caribbean environment. Their signature and most popular collection, The Infinity Collection, reflects the endlessly joyful feelings invoked by the Caribbean Sea and the local color of its people. Other top selling collections are Strength, Circle of Life and Pamoja, meaning "oneness" in Swahili, inspired by the desire to capture the spirit of oneness through unity and humanity.

On the horizon, ib designs will be featuring some stunning new materials in their jewelry, including raw Persian Turquoise and Australian boulder opals.
